ASHLEY STEVENS FROM BOURNE END SENTENCED TO 12 YEARS FOR SEXUAL OFFENCES AGAINST CHILDREN IN AYLESBURY

In a case that has shocked the local community, Ashley Stevens, a 19-year-old resident of Spring Gardens in Bourne End, has been handed a lengthy prison sentence after being convicted of multiple serious sexual offences involving minors. The sentencing took place on Friday, March 21, following a conviction that was reached earlier in the year at Aylesbury Crown Court.

Stevens was found guilty of three counts of rape during a hearing held on January 29. The court proceedings revealed that he had previously pleaded guilty to three additional counts of sexual activity, which further underscored the severity of his crimes. The allegations against him involved two young girls, aged 14 and 15, whom he befriended through online platforms.

According to court records, Stevens first established contact with his initial victim, a 14-year-old girl, via an instant messaging service. Over the course of their online interactions, he gained her trust and subsequently raped her on three separate occasions in 2011. The case details highlight the manipulative nature of his actions and the predatory behavior that persisted over time.

In the following years, specifically during 2012 and 2013, Stevens targeted a second victim, a 15-year-old girl. He again used social media and instant messaging to build a relationship, which eventually developed into a sexual relationship. The charges related to these incidents were formally brought against him on June 12, 2013, and September 9, 2013.

Investigating officer Detective Constable Quoc Vo from High Wycombe Force CID expressed his condemnation of Stevens' actions. He described the case as
