Buckie Domestic Abuser
A violent offender named Ashley Reaich is accused of deliberately stabbing his ex-partner, Kaylana Murray, outside a Scotmid store in Buckie in broad daylight on June 11 of the previous year. The incident was caught on CCTV and took place in front of a young child who was nearby. The victim suffered serious injuries, including a collapsed lung and severe bleeding that required an emergency blood transfusion. She now has two scars and reports no feeling down her left side, possibly permanently. She also exhibits signs of post-traumatic stress disorder. Reaich, who has a lengthy criminal record for violence, weapons, and disorder offenses, was arrested at the scene. He initially claimed the victim fell on the knife, which she had taken from her car and dropped. Today, Reaich appeared in the High Court in Glasgow, pleaded guilty to assaulting Ms. Murray, and the court has scheduled his sentencing for next month. Reaich is known to carry tattoos and is considered dangerous, with his crimes raising concern regarding his propensity for violence.
