HUDDERSFIELD RAPIST ASHLEY HARDMAN JAILED FOR FIVE YEARS AND NINE MONTHS
Ashley Hardman, 25, was convicted of rape after assaulting a woman hours after they matched on the dating app Badoo.The court heard that he persistently asked to meet, and after initially socialising at her home, he became verbally abusive and then raped her when she attempted to isolate herself from him.
Hardman was already under investigation for harassment related to another woman, an ex-partner whom he had threatened to burn her grandmother's house down and had harassed for a year.
He admitted to harassment and rape, and was sentenced to five years and nine months in prison, with specific terms for custody, restraining order, and notification requirements for life.
