INKBERROW MAN APPEARS IN COURT ON CHILD SEX OFFENCES AND BREACH OF ORDER
An individual from Inkberrow has made an appearance in court facing charges related to child sex offences and a breach of a sexual harm prevention order.
Arron Bird, residing on High House Drive, attended his initial hearing at Kidderminster Magistrates' Court on Saturday, July 18.
The 33-year-old is accused of attempting to persuade a child aged 13 to 15 to view a sexually explicit image, attempting to communicate sexually with a minor, and trying to incite a boy aged 13 to 15 to partake in sexual activities between June 8 and July 14.
He is also accused of trying to contact a male under 18, which he is legally prohibited from doing by an order issued by Worcester Magistrates' Court in September 2024.
Because of the gravity of these allegations, the case was forwarded to Worcester Magistrates' Court, where Bird is scheduled to return for a plea hearing on August 17.
Several bail conditions have been imposed, including restrictions on contacting anyone under 18, except for specified individuals, and he must reside at his own home during the proceedings.
