PHYSIOTHERAPIST STRUCK OFF AFTER INAPPROPRIATE SEXUALLY MOTIVATED ACTIONS TO PATIENTS
On two occasions, Moorehouse behaved inappropriately towards Service User A and/or did not deliver a proper standard of care by instructing her to remove her bra and/or neglecting to correct her when she did so.On a further two occasions, Moorehouse told the same patient to remove her bra, permitted her to lie with her breasts uncovered, massaged the area around or between her breasts, and touched her left breast and/or nipple.
Moorehouse didn’t obtain her informed consent for the treatment provided.
On a seperate occasion relating to a different woman, on 20 March 2019, Moorehouse acted improperly by instructing her to remove her bra and/or massaging or touching her breasts and the area around them.
Additionally, he did not provide appropriate care by either failing to clearly instruct her on clothing removal or not advising her to put her bra back on, and you did not obtain her informed consent for the treatment administered.
Moorehouse’s actions were found to be sexually motivated and of a sexually nature and he was struck off of the HCTPS register on 2nd March 2020.
