WALSOKEN MAN CONVICTED FOR INDECENT EXPOSURE TO BOY
A nine-year-old boy observed Anthony Williams, aged 37, exposing himself while sitting in a car and reported the incident to his mother. When she investigated, she also saw Williams exposing himself.
Magistrates were told that Williams had a laminated map on his lap at the time and that another woman walking past was visibly upset by his behavior.
Williams, of Musticott Place, Walsoken, denied a charge of committing an act that outraged public decency but was convicted after a trial last month.
He is scheduled for sentencing at Cambridge Crown Court after magistrates decided they do not have sufficient powers, emphasizing that Williams remains in denial despite the young child's testimony.
The court noted that Williams had a history of similar offenses, including a caution in 2002 and a conviction in 2003 for exposing himself.
