ANTHONY GORMAN FROM WHALLEY ADMITS TO SEX ABUSE OF GIRL UNDER 16 IN BURNLEY COURT

In a disturbing case heard at Burnley Crown Court, Anthony Gorman, a 51-year-old resident of The Cloisters in Whalley, has confessed to committing a series of serious sexual offences against a young girl. The crimes, which spanned over a decade from 1990 to 2000, involved a total of 25 separate incidents of sexual abuse, beginning when the victim was only six years old.

Gorman’s admission came during his court appearance, where he acknowledged the historic nature of the offences.
