In a disturbing case that has shocked the community of Haltwhistle, Northumberland, a local physiotherapist was caught in an undercover police operation involving inappropriate and sexually explicit communications with a person he believed to be a young girl.The incident unfolded over a period of six weeks, during which Andrew Thomson, aged 30, engaged in a series of conversations that crossed the boundaries of acceptable conduct.
Thomson, who was employed as a physiotherapist with the National Health Service (NHS) at the time, initiated contact with what he thought was a 13-year-old girl on social media platforms.
