COURT GRANTS DOMESTIC VIOLENCE PROTECTION ORDER AGAINST MAN
A domestic violence protection order has been granted against a man named Andrew Barton.The order was issued following an application at Grimsby And Cleethorpes Court House on a Tuesday, after a domestic violence protection notice was served by a constable on June 25.
Although Barton did not appear in court, the application was approved, and the court has ordered the order to last for 28 days to protect a woman who remains unnamed by the Telegraph & Argus.
The order includes various restrictions that Barton must adhere to: he is prohibited from contacting the woman through any means such as text, email, social media, or other electronic messaging; he must not use or threaten any violence against her, nor harass, threaten, or pester her; he is required to leave an address associated with her and is prohibited from returning to that address or the street, and he is not permitted to evict or exclude her from the property.
