Amos Price, a resident of Trevor Road in Pelsall, Walsall, became the focus of widespread condemnation after a disturbing incident involving his cruelty towards a beloved pet. On October 23, 2019, footage emerged showing Price encouraging his dog to attack an innocent eight-year-old cat named Cleo, resulting in the animal's tragic death.

The footage clearly depicted Price approaching the victim’s home with his lurcher-type dog, and then pulling the animal towards the defenseless cat.
