Houghton Sexual Abuser
In a disturbing incident that took place at The Pools in Carlisle, a local teacher from Houghton, Alisdair John Wilson, 27, was found guilty of exposing himself to a mother and her two children in a swimming pool changing room. The court proceedings revealed a troubling sequence of events that unfolded on April 1st, which left the victim and her children deeply traumatized.

According to court reports, Wilson entered a cubicle behind the woman as she was drying her hair with her children nearby. Moments later, the cubicle door unexpectedly swung open, revealing Wilson standing completely naked. He fixated his gaze on the woman and her children for a brief period before retreating back into his cubicle and shutting the door behind him.

The woman, alarmed by the incident, quickly moved her children away to get them dressed. When she returned to the mirror, she noticed Wilson had changed into jogging bottoms. However, the disturbing behavior did not end there. Wilson re-entered the cubicle, and shortly afterward, he again opened the door, this time standing fully naked behind her. The woman, frightened and distressed, hurriedly gathered her children and fled the changing rooms to report the incident to the Pool Manager.

Wilson was subsequently brought before the court, where he was sentenced to a nine-month community order along with a 40-day rehabilitation order. The court's decision underscores the seriousness of his actions and the impact they had on the victims involved. This case has drawn attention to the importance of safety and vigilance in public swimming facilities, especially in family-friendly environments like The Pools in Carlisle.
