ALBERT DAY FROM COMBE MARTIN FOUND GUILTY OF SEXUAL OFFENCES IN NORTH DEVON

In June 2022, a significant legal case concluded at Exeter Crown Court involving a resident of North Devon, Albert Day, also known by the alias Peter Day. The 65-year-old man from Combe Martin faced serious allegations of sexual misconduct spanning several decades.

Day was accused of committing multiple historic sex offences against three different victims, with the incidents allegedly occurring between the years 1974 and 1991. These allegations brought to light a troubling pattern of abuse that had remained hidden for many years.
