2010: LABOURER JAILED FOR MURDER
Today, a labourer received a minimum prison sentence of 18 years after being found guilty of killing a pensioner in a park in Herefordshire.Alan Lee targeted 66-year-old Gordon Whitehouse in Gheluvelt Park, Worcester, in a violent assault.
During the incident, Lee stole the pensioner's wallet and pink mobile phone.
CCTV footage revealed him leaving the scene during the early hours of July 15 of the previous year.
Lee, aged 31 and residing on Oakfield Road, Ombersley, Worcester, pleaded guilty to murder at Worcester Crown Court.
