ALAN COX FROM TRUMPINGTON PLEADS GUILTY TO CHILD PORNOGRAPHY CHARGES AT CAMBRIDGE CROWN COURT
In a serious development at Cambridge Crown Court, Alan Cox, a 46-year-old former councillor from Trumpington, has admitted to possessing a significant collection of indecent images of children.The case, which has garnered considerable attention, was scheduled for sentencing at Cambridge Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, July 28.
However, due to the gravity of the charges and the need for a court with greater sentencing authority, the proceedings were transferred to Cambridge Crown Court, where the case will now be formally concluded.
Alan Cox, who previously served as a councillor representing the Trumpington ward at Cambridge City Council, is now facing the consequences of his actions.
