ALAN BEACH FROM EAST DULWICH JAILED FOR REPREHENSIBLE CHILD AND ANIMAL PORNOGRAPHY

In January 2013, a disturbing case unfolded at Southwark Crown Court involving Alan Beach, a 34-year-old resident of East Dulwich, who was found guilty of possessing an appalling collection of indecent images and videos.

The court heard that Beach had accumulated a vast and sickening library of extreme pornography, which included images and footage of children and babies being subjected to sexual abuse, as well as material involving animals such as dogs and horses engaged in sexual acts.

Beach’s collection was described as 'revolting' by the presiding judge, Alistair McCreath, who expressed his profound disgust at the nature of the material.

The court revealed that Beach possessed a staggering total of 1,649 photographs and films depicting the abuse of children and infants.

Additionally, he had nearly 1,000 videos involving animals, highlighting the extent of his disturbing interests.

Following the evidence presented, Judge McCreath sentenced Beach to a prison term of one year.

The judge also stated that he had 'no confidence' that Beach would benefit from any treatment program outside of incarceration, indicating the severity of the case and the perceived risk to society if he were to remain free.
