In a case that has shocked the community of Burnham, a 60-year-old man named Adrian Summerfield was found to be in possession of a large collection of child abuse images, including some that depicted extreme and bestial acts.

The authorities conducted police raids at his residence, during which Summerfield admitted to possessing these illicit materials.

Despite the gravity of the offences, the court decided against imposing a prison sentence on him.
