MAN JAILED FOR SEXUALLY ASSAULTING CHILD

A man aged 62 has been sentenced to prison after a jury convicted him of sexually abusing a minor.

Adrian McNab, previously residing on Woodwell Road in Shirehampton, was found guilty of two counts of sexual contact with a girl under the age of 13.

The convictions followed a four-day hearing at Bristol Crown Court, which wrapped up on Monday, February 16.

During the sentencing on Friday, April 10, McNab was sentenced to four years behind bars and was also mandated to be registered as a sex offender.

The court was informed that McNab had engaged in inappropriate touching of a young girl on multiple occasions spanning from 2019 to 2021.

Judge Lambert, who presided over the case, remarked that the defendant’s conduct had inflicted significant and lasting harm on the victim.
