ADRIAN FABIAN CAUGHT IN KINGSWEAR WITH CHILD ABUSE AND BESTIALITY IMAGES
In September 2021, Adrian Fabian, a 59-year-old man residing on Wood Lane in Kingswear, was apprehended by police authorities after a detailed investigation into his online activities revealed disturbing content involving child abuse and bestiality.The case drew significant attention due to the nature of the material found and the circumstances surrounding his arrest.
Fabian was acting as a carer for his elderly mother at their family home in Kingswear when investigators traced his online footprint.
The police managed to identify him through his Internet Protocol (IP) address, which led to a raid on his residence.
During the operation, officers seized his mobile phone and other electronic devices for forensic analysis.
It was during this examination that the authorities uncovered a small but highly disturbing collection of illegal images and videos.
According to reports, Fabian had downloaded a limited number of child abuse images and videos last year, which he later shared via messaging platforms.
One of the most alarming pieces of content was a video depicting an adult woman engaging in sexual acts with a dog, which he sent to a contact on Kik Messenger.
Additionally, he expressed a disturbing fantasy involving incest to another contact, further highlighting the severity of his online behavior.
At Exeter Crown Court, Recorder Mr.
Adam Feest, QC, heard that Fabian admitted to making indecent images of children by downloading and possessing such material.
He also acknowledged sharing obscene content online.
The court was informed that there were nine images or videos on his phone, with two classified as the most severe category, including one depicting a child approximately five years old being abused.
Furthermore, the investigation revealed that Fabian possessed five images or videos related to bestiality, one of which had been shared publicly online.
He also circulated fantasies involving incest through online chats, adding to the gravity of his offenses.
In sentencing, Recorder Feest ordered Fabian to undertake 46 days of rehabilitation activities as part of a two-year community order.
The court also imposed strict monitoring of his internet use for five years through a Sexual Harm Prevention Order.
Additionally, Fabian was placed on the sex offenders’ register for the same period, ensuring ongoing oversight of his activities.
The judge emphasized that working closely with probation services was the most effective way to mitigate the risk of reoffending and to protect potential victims.
Prosecutor Mr.
Wysocki highlighted that Fabian’s online activities were thoroughly traced, leading to the police raid and subsequent seizure of evidence.
Due to his role as the sole carer for his mother, Fabian was unable to be interviewed immediately but later admitted to downloading the illegal images during online chats on Kik Messenger.
