Hungerford Sexual Abuser
A man from Hungerford, Adam Lineker Gillespie, has been found guilty of multiple criminal charges following a trial at Reading Magistrates’ Court. The proceedings took place on Tuesday, October 6, and centered around allegations that Gillespie committed a sexual assault earlier this year in Reading, as well as other related offenses.

Gillespie, aged 29 and residing at Fairfields Close in Hungerford, entered a plea of not guilty to three separate charges. These charges included sexually assaulting a woman in Reading, causing criminal damage to her property, and physically assaulting her by beating her during the same incident. Despite his insistence on his innocence, the magistrates did not accept his account of events. After careful consideration and a trial, the court found Gillespie guilty on all counts.

The magistrates have ordered that pre-sentence reports be prepared to assist in determining the appropriate punishment. All sentencing options remain on the table, including the possibility of imprisonment. Meanwhile, Gillespie has been released on unconditional bail, allowing him to await the outcome of the sentencing process while not being detained in custody.
