Huddersfield Domestic Abuser
A man named Adam Kitcher was involved in an incident where he was observed repeatedly punching his girlfriend in the stomach by two teenagers as they left a gym in Huddersfield. The teenagers reported hearing a commotion across the road and witnessed Kitcher pushing and striking his girlfriend multiple times. One witness described seeing a stabbing-like motion, which aligned with punches to the stomach. Kitcher, aged 24 and of no fixed address, denied the charge of assault by beating, claiming that he only pushed his girlfriend to prevent her from running into the road. The case was heard at Kirklees Magistrates’ Court, where it was scheduled for a trial on July 25 at Leeds Magistrates’ Court. The court permitted the witnesses to testify via live television link due to their age. Kitcher was granted bail with conditions not to contact or visit the victim's residence.
