ABERDEEN SEX OFFENDER JAILED FOR EIGHT YEARS FOR REPEATED RAPES
The convicted sex offender, Abraham Ramirez, has been sentenced to eight years in prison after repeatedly raping two women between March 2021 and October 2022.
Ramirez, a 50-year-old man and former University of Aberdeen graduate, was found guilty of his crimes at the High Court in Glasgow.
Court documents reveal that Ramirez first assaulted one woman at her flat in Aberdeen, lying on top of her in a violent attack.
He subsequently raped her again at the same residence, seizing and restraining her during the assaults.
The court was shown disturbing images of Ramirez and heard detailed evidence of his heinous acts.
His conviction resulted in his placement on the sex offenders register, and he now faces the penalty of eight years of incarceration as a consequence of his actions.
