AARON PESCUD'S SHOCKING CRIMES IN WHITTON: HISTORIC SEX OFFENSES AND FRAUDULENT DATING SCHEME

In a series of disturbing incidents that have shocked the community of Whitton, Aaron Pescud, aged 33, has been at the center of multiple serious criminal allegations, including historic sexual offenses and a deceptive relationship scheme. The events span over several years, revealing a pattern of manipulative and criminal behavior that has left victims and authorities alike deeply concerned.

Back in April 2014, while on bail awaiting trial for previous charges, Pescud used a false identity to establish a romantic connection with a woman whose identity is protected by law. Under the pseudonym ‘Ryan Nelly,’ he engaged with her on a dating website called ‘Scout,’ presenting himself as a successful individual who owned bars and a villa in Spain. Over the course of their online relationship, which lasted approximately eight months, Pescud managed to convince the woman of his fabricated lifestyle and personal details.

During this period, Pescud moved into her home, taking care of her six-year-old daughter while she was at work. His involvement extended to looking after the child, which added a disturbing layer to his deception, especially given his criminal background. The woman believed he was attending a Marks & Spencer training course in December 2014, but in reality, he was at Kingston Crown Court for his sentencing related to earlier charges. It was only later that she learned the truth, when Pescud’s own mother disclosed his real identity and criminal history.

Prosecutor James Dawes highlighted that Pescud’s continued contact with the woman was unwanted and that he persistently tried to maintain communication despite her clear disinterest. The court was informed that Pescud had breached multiple conditions of his sex offenders register, leading to an additional year being added to his sentence. His refusal to leave prison to attend court proceedings, along with his attempt to rip off his electronic monitoring tag and claim to have overdosed on drugs, further complicated his legal situation. Judge Recorder Vanessa Francis ordered that his sexual offenders’ restrictions be amended to prevent him from contacting the woman or her daughter.

In a separate but related case, Pescud was convicted in December 2014 of multiple historic sexual offenses against two young girls. The victims, aged between 4 and 10 at the time, were assaulted between 1992 and 2001, when Pescud was between 11 and 18 years old. Prosecutor Stephen Clayton described how Pescud, a former student at St George’s College Weybridge, exploited his position of trust to commit these heinous acts. The court found that grooming and planning were evident in his conduct, with the third charge being comparable to the rape of a child under 13.

Following his conviction, Pescud was sentenced to a total of five years in prison in October 2014. The court heard that he had previously served an eight-year sentence after being found guilty of two counts of rape in 2003. Defense counsel Mark Fraser argued that Pescud’s age at the time of the offenses should be considered, emphasizing his ADHD diagnosis, which was not recognized at the time. However, Judge Georgina Kent emphasized the severe and lasting harm caused to the victims, noting their difficulty in coping with the trauma and the impact on their personal and professional lives.

Judge Kent sentenced Pescud to 12 months for the first count, 24 months for the second, and 48 months for the third, with the latter being the most serious. The sentences for counts two and three are to run concurrently, resulting in a total of five years of imprisonment. She also ordered that Pescud serve half of his sentence in custody, followed by release on license, with strict reporting requirements to the police. Additionally, a sexual offence prevention order was issued to restrict his contact with potential victims.

Further complicating his legal troubles, in November 2014, Pescud was found guilty of indecently assaulting two girls under 14 before 2001. During the sentencing hearing at Kingston Crown Court, he refused to speak after a new barrister was brought in, and he was found to be suffering from conditions believed to include ADHD and a personality disorder. In a dramatic turn, Pescud was taken into custody after he ingested 12 tablets, demanding an ambulance, and ripped off his electronic monitoring device. Although the medication was not deemed life-threatening, he was hospitalized as a precaution. He remains in custody pending the resumption of his sentencing, which has been adjourned to a later date.

Throughout these proceedings, the community of Whitton has been left grappling with the revelations of Pescud’s actions, which have exposed a troubling pattern of deception, abuse, and defiance of the law.
