A woman, Annamarie Janczuk, who stabbed her husband Steven, 32, to death at their home in The Rally, Arlesey, Bedfordshire, was sentenced to four years in prison for manslaughter.
Steven Janczuk was found with a stab wound to the abdomen and was declared dead upon arrival at hospital.
Annamarie Janczuk had initially denied murder but admitted manslaughter two days into her trial, leading to her conviction and sentencing at the Inner London Crown Court.
After sentencing, Bedfordshire Police's Detective Superintendent Paul Coombes commented: "This was a tragic waste of a young life and I am pleased for Steven's family, and the officers who worked so diligently on this case, that a conviction has been successfully obtained."
